Arrival at the airport in Montevideo and transfer to the hotel.

Today you will explore the city. You will be picked up at your hotel to visit among others the historical center, the Independence Square, the Solis Theater and the old market hall. In the afternoon you will enjoy a guided tour and a wine tasting at the boutique winery Artesana.

You will participate in an interesting Tambores workshop with the female group “La Melaza” in the Carnival Museum to learn more about the art of the Candombe and Tambores playing.

On today’s excursion you will visit the local community of artisanal women fisheries known as APALCO to learn more about their lives. At their restaurant Cocina de La Barra you will savor a traditional lunch with fresh products. In the afternoon continue to La Paloma.

Full day excursion to Cabo Polonio. Morning drive to the entrances of Cabo Polonio, where you will take one of the authorized 4x4 trucks to reach the town. One of the largest colonies of sea lions of South America can be found here. Explore the rustic fishermen’s town on your own and enjoy it’s unique charm and spirit. At the end of the day return to the Estancia in La Paloma.

The journey continues to Punta del Este. On the way you will stop in Pueblo Eden and at the olive plantation Finca Babieca. Enjoy a tour through the plantation and learn about the "journey" of the olives from branch to bottle, before you taste the locally produced olive oils and wines, accompanied by a selection of cheeses and homemade bread.

On a scenic tour through the city you will visit among others the Ralli Museum, Punta Ballena and Casapueblo.

Transfer from Punta del Este to the ranch Estancia “Los Plátanos” with the possibility to participate or watch the rural tasks and feel like a “Gaucho” for a day. Lunch included.

Today you will visit Cerro Chato, the first place in the country where women exercised the right to vote. Visit this interesting place and have lunch at a local restaurant. Return to the Estancia and dinner.

Transfer to the ecofriendly hotel Cerro Místico in Minas. It is an oasis of tranquility, comfort and relaxation and offers 50 hectares of park, canyons, wetlands and native forest, with a circuit for trekking and hiking, interpretive trails of native flora and fauna, 4x4 rides, workshops and guided activities. You will have time to enjoy the pools, browse at the library, stroll around or
participate in activities. Lunch & dinner included.
