Arrival in Lima und transfer to the hotel.

Flight to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley. On the way visit the Chinchero community and the Sunday market of Chinchero. Continue to “El Mirador de Racchi” for a splendid view of the Sacred Valley. Typical lunch at a local restaurant.

In the morning optional excursions like visit of the traditional Pisac Market, rafting on the Urubamba river, Biking tour in the Sacred Valley or Hiking from Ollantaytambo to Cachicata can be done. In the afternoon visit to the ruins of Ollantaytambo.

Visit to Machu Picchu. This “Lost City” of the Incas lay hidden from the world in dense jungle covered mountains until 1911 and is one of the world’s archaeological jewels. Explore the mystery of this awe-inspiring place. In the afternoon return to Cusco.

The contrasts of indigenous styles and the modern western world give this city its rare beauty. Half day city tour inclusive visit of some ruins around Cusco, e.g. Sacsayhuaman.

Full day panoramic drive to Puno on the shores of magnificent Lake Titicaca (seat-in). On the way visit Andahuaylillas with its Sistine Chapel of America, the temple of Wiracocha in Racchi and Puka Pukara en route inclusive lunch.

Day tour to the islands of Uros and the unique culture of the Taquile Island (seat-in). Many of the inhabitants of the Uros islands still practice the old traditions of fishing and living on the lake plants. The narrow island of Taquile is home to numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins and Inca terracing. Lunch included. Transfer to Juliaca and flight to Lima.

City tour inclusive visit to the Larco Herrera Museum. This unique museum contains a large collection of pottery from Inca and pre-Inca civilizations as well as erotic art pieces.

Flight to Iguassú and hotel transfer. The Iguazu falls are made up of 275 separate waterfalls, providing a sensational sight! Producing vast sprays of water, it is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world.

Visit the Argentinian side including the Devil’s Throat with the highest continuous fall. In the afternoon, visit to the Brazilian side of the falls with views of the full scale of the cascades.

Flight to Buenos Aires and hotel transfer.

City Tour of Buenos Aires, the “Paris” of South America. Visit the colourful La Boca district, the famous May Square, modern Puerto Madero, and beautiful Recoleta Cemetery. Optional visit of a tango show with dinner at El Viejo Almacen Show House.

Flight to Rio de Janeiro and hotel transfer.

Half day tour to the city’s most important sights. Enjoy amazing views at the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Optional: Half day city tour including scenic drive to the bottom of Corcovado Hill. Optional visit of a typical Brazilian Samba Show.

End of the roundtrip and homebound flight or post-tour.
