Brazil - Rio & Paraty

Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon city tour in Rio de Janeiro, passing through Rio Branco Avenue with the Candelaria Church. Guests will see the Opera House (Teatro Municipal) and the Carioca Square, the church of Santo Antonio as well as the contrast of the modern buildings such as Petrobras and the Cathedral. The highlight of the tour will be the ascend to the Sugar Loaf. Dinner will be served at restaurant with a great variety of Italian cuisine and a well-chosen selection of wine.

In the morning half day beaches tour and drive up to the top of the Corcovado mountain, where one of the Modern World Wonders stands: The Statue of Christ the Redeemer. From here, guests have a divine view of the “Marvellous City”. Lunch at a BBQ restaurant. Tonight guests will see the Bohemian Night in Rio combiend with an assortment of delicious finger food.

Transfer to Paraty, located 254km from Rio. Go back in time and get to know the history of Paraty, the colonial age. Guests will have the chance to walk around the historical center to visit colonial churches, the house of culture, Pontal beach and the Defensor Perpétuo Fortress, a wonderful view point. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Guests enjoy today a tour through the Serra da Bocaina National Park, located in the middle of Atlantic forest. Lunch at Villa Verde Restaurant. After return to Pararty dinner at a local restaurant.

At a given time, guests will be picked up and taken to the airport in Rio de Janeiro for their homebound flight.
