Brazil - Carnival in Rio de Janeiro

Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and hotel transfer. Buffer-Lunch at the restaurant of the hotel. In the afternoon visit of the Sugar Loaf with Welcome Cocktail. Evening is free for own activities.

Half day tour in Rio including Corcovado visit where the towering statue of Christ the Redeemer stands. After appreciating the breathtaking view unfolding below, passengers will descend by train and head to a nice Brazilian Steak House. In the evening guests will join a magic Gala Carnival Ball.

Morning at leisure.  After lunch visit of the Maracanã Football Stadium where the World Cup 2014 was held. Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the Sambódromo, where the famous carnival parade takes place.

Morning at leisure. In the early afternoon will start the excursion to the tropical island "Regente Feijó" by schooner including barbecue dinner on the island.

After breakfast guests take part on a „behind of the scene program” (4 hours). A guided visit inside the city of samba „Cidade do Samba“, where all the carnival floats, costumes and instruments of the last night carnival parade are manufactured and stored. Return to the hotel. Farewell Night with 3-course dinner, a big band and professional dancers. Transfer back to the hotel.

Transfer to the airport for individual homebound flight.
