Arrival in Quito, welcome surprise at your hotel.

City tour with Independence Square, Cathedral, La Compañia church and San Francisco church. Visit La Rondastreet with its workshops and galleries to meet local artists. Enjoy a chocolate tasting in a fine chocolate manufacture. Romantic dinner at the hotel.

Free day. Optional cablecar ride and visit to the Equatorial Line Monument or visit to the foundation of Ecuadorian artist Oswaldo Guayasamín and the house of local artist Dolores Andrade or visit to the Mindo cloudforest.

Transfer to Otavalo, famous for its centuries old market tradition. On the way, visit to the Jesuit hacienda La Compañia de Jesus and its colourful rose plantation including lunch at the hacienda. A fruit selection is served in the hotel room.

Visit of the famous handicraft market in Otavalo and excursion to the crater lake Cuicocha with hike around the lagoon (approx. 4h). Dinner at the hotel.

Transfer southwards towards Cotopaxi, along the“Avenue of the volcanoes”. Free afternoon to relax or optional horse riding to get to know the surroundings. Dinner at the hotel.

Excursion to the National Park Cotopaxi with walk along the Limpiopungo lake. Visit of a typical market, that is opened everyday of the week exept for Monday and Friday. Transfer to Baños. Free afternoon to enjoy the hotel´s spa facilities and hot springs. A wellness package is included. Romantic dinner at the hotel.

Spa morning at the hotel. Excursion to the waterfall “Pailon del Diablo” and the tree house “Casa del Arbol” to observe the Tungurahua volcano. Dinner at the hotel.

Return to Quito. Free afternoon to explore the city on your own. Romantic dinner at the hotel.

Flight to Galapagos (Baltra). Transfer to the hotel on Isabela Island. Remaining day at leisure to enjoy the hotel and the beach. A surprise awaits you in the room, followed by dinner.

Take part in an excursion with a naturalist guide to visit the Santa Cruz highlands, including the Twin Craters, a lava tunnel and a giant tortoise sanctuary or walk to Tortuga Bay, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Galapagos for swimming and relaxing followed by a visit of the Charles Darwin Research Station. Lunch is included. Dinner at the hotel.

Day tour by boat to either North Seymour, South Plazas, Bartholomew or Santa Fe including lunch on board. Dinner at the hotel.

Day tour by boat to one of the above islands not visited the day before including lunch on board. Romantic farewell dinner by the pool.

End of the roundtrip. Flight to either Guayaquil or Quito for homebound flight.
