Chile - Fly Fishing

Arrival at the hotel Le Reve in Santiago de Chile. Guests will join a guided tour through this contrasting city past Cousiño Palace, the Pre-Colombian Museum, the Plaza de Armas, the famous Central Market. On San Cristobal Hill a stunning view over the city is waiting!

Today you will visit the traditional winery Viña Santa Rita, situated in Colchagua Valley. After a tour through the vineyard, the guests have the possibility to taste famous Chilean wine and to enjoy lunch. Afterwards they may discover the Museo Andino Alto Jahuel with its private collection of valuable Pre-Colombian objects. (private transfer, tour & winetasting SIC).

Early in the morning, flight to Punta Arenas in Patagonia. After welcoming at the airport, transfer to the Remota hotel in Puerto Natales. The guests will enjoy the daily changing all inclusive package “Fly Fishing” on SIC basis. Brown Trouts, Rainbows and Coho Salmons are only a few examples of species they can catch in the surrounding.

With vans and guides the guests will be brought to the fishing points selected by them the day before. The chosen program could be a full day tour to a fishing area south of Puerto Natales at the rivers Penitentes, Rubens and Las Nievas. Their crystal clear waters and the spring creeks  can be easily accessed.

The chosen program could be a half or a full day tour in the area of Sierra Prat. Calm clear waters and dense grasslands will test the patience and tenacity of your fishing friends while trying to catch very active trouts.

Today the chosen Fly fishing program could be a full day tour to the Baguales River in midst of the Patagonian steppe. The nearby El Vizcachas River will also enchant the guests with a big variety of several fish species.

Guests will choose with a guide the best place to go fishing or enjoy one of the programs offered by the Remota hotel. (SIC and English speaking guide).

Transfer to Punta Arenas and flight to Santiago de Chile for the international return flight.
