Bogotá Individual arrival at Bogotá. Welcome by our local English speaking guide and transfer to the hotel. |

Bogotá Start the day with the visit of the famous Gold Museum and the colonial Center of La Candelaria. Continue to Zipaquirá, the former central point of saltproduction of the Muisca Indians. The main attraction of Zipaquirá is the Salt cathedral, built inside the salt mine, 2652 meters above sea level. |

Bogotá - Honda Transfer to Honda (around 4 hours). The city was founded 1539 and applied for the Spaniards, the English, the French and the Germans as most important reloading point for all importet goods. The city is called „City of bridges“, because more than 25 bridges leads over the river Magdalena, Gualí, Guarinó and the Quebrada Seca. Enjoy a walk through the colonial center of Honda. |

Hacienda Napoles Transfer to La Dorada situated on the banks of Colombia's principal river, Magdalena River. You will visit the infamous Hacienda Napoles. This hacienda was the residence of the drug baron "Pablo Escobar" for a long time. Transfer to Puerto Triunfo (around 3 hours). |

Natural Reserve of Rio Claro Today you will venture a full day excursion to the nature reserve of Rio Claro. Take the chance to have a refreshing bath in the river, observe a multitude of birds or make a hike through the natural forest on paths with different levels of difficulty. In the late afternoon you will return to the hotel. |

Honda - Medellín Transfer to Medellín, the second-largest city of Colombia and capital of Antioquia. City tour to visit the Antioquia Museum with a fine collection of pictures from the famous Colombian painter and sculptor Fernando Botero. The Metrocar, a cable car, is one of the cities highlights and will give you a panoramic view of Medellín. |

Medellín - Cartagena Flight to Cartagena, the most beautiful colonial city on the Caribbean coast. Remaining day at leisure for a first exploration of the city and its charming historic centre. |

Cartagena City tour to visit the Convent of La Popa, photo-stop at Fort San Felipe and walk through the colourful streets to attend the convent of San Pedro Claver. Transfer to the fishing village La Boquilla, 1 1/2 hours away from Cartagena to move in little Dugout-canoes through the mangroves. |

Cartagena Day at leisure for own activities. Optional full day excursion to enjoy the great Rosario Islands. The archipelago of coral reefs and crystal clear water lies 45km south-west off shore (2h boat-ride). |
