Quito Arrival in Quito. Situated in a circle of mountainous peaks of the Andes, Quito has one of the most magnificent settings in the world. |

Quito City tour through the colorful history of colonial Quito including visits of many churches and Quitos oldest street “La Ronda” which is home to many workshops and galleries. It is possible to meet some of the artists and talk to them about their work. |

Quito In the morning visit of the Central Bank Museum, home to an astonishing collection of pre-Columbian archaeology and Inca artifacts. Later guests can admire works of Oswaldo Guayasamín, one of Ecuadors most acclaimed artists, in the Fundación Guayasamín before they move on to Capilla del Hombre, an architectural monument and one of Guayasamín’s last works. |

Quito - Otavalo - Quito Visit of the famous indigenous handicrafts market in Otavalo. Afterwards continue to the small village Peguche to see how the handmade artefacts are created. |

Quito - Cotopaxi - Quito Excursion to the National Park Cotopaxi including the picturesque “Laguna de Limpiopungo” and a typical indigenous market of the area. Lunch at a traditional Hacienda. Afterwards learn about another traditional art of Ecuador. The artists of tigua are renowned for their colorful paintings depicting village life high in the mountains of rural Ecuador. |

Quito - Cuenca Transfer to the airport in Quito and flight to Cuenca. |

Cuenca City tour through the Ecuadorian center of art, ceramic as well as products of silver and gold. Afterwards it is possible to visit iron, wood cravings or textile workshops or go to art galleries and museums. Lunch will be served at a traditional restaurant. |

Cuenca Full day excursion to handicraft villages like Gualaceo and Chordeleg to watch the production of filigree jewelry, panama hats and ceramic pottery. Lunch in a typical hacienda. |

Cuenca - Quito/Guayaquil Transport to the airport and flight to Quito or Guayaquil for homebound flights. |
